About Me

Hi, my name is Edgar Maseepe Mamogawane, also known as Sebuti. “Sebuti” is a childhood name that I still use because it fits perfectly with the identity I’m building today, SMME pronounced sme with a soft, lower “e” kind of like how Kanye says his name. “SMME” carries a few meanings. One of them is Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises, which is the business category I’m part of and the space I aim to grow and collaborate within. But more personally, SMME is an abbreviation of my full name: Sebuti Maseepe Mamogawane Edgar. I created it back in 2020-2021 when I was planning to become a DJ and wanted a name that sounded mysterious and coded almost like a secret service agent, “S double M E ” :D.

I’m someone who has recently(2025) developed a strong interest in software and web development. Over the past year I’ve completed courses in HTML, CSS, Java, Python, and MATLAB, and since then I’ve been consistently pushing myself to get better, faster, and more accurate with my code. My main goal is to offer these skills to local businesses helping them build the websites and systems they need to grow their craft. I’ve noticed that many new businesses need an online presence, yet a lot of local entrepreneurs don’t have the guidance to get started. Because of that, I taught myself how to set up domains, build static sites, and create booking systems to help fill that gap. That’s the level I’m at right now, but I’m someone who always learns beyond what I’m currently doing, so I’m confident I’ll have even more to bring to the table as I keep growing.

I am currently working on a project, to be specific, I want to start a refurbished iPhone reseller business. Main aim on this one is to try to generate the required top up for my fees. Last year I almost got into a jam, but things worked out, out of luck. So this year I want to have some security. I am honestly hoping on collaborating with already existing resellers, I beliver I have something to offer beyond just a website. But currently most of them are not looking for partnership. But I'll keep on trying, by June I should have my top up ready and put somewhere for security. I just hope all my marketing and web development skills actually pay of. (This should have went in the diary page :D)
